Day one

Today we had sushi, walked, and cycled. The best part is seeing everyone outside & friends sharing photos on WeChat and knowing that they feel the same relief.

It’s only shot with my phone, but I wanted to document the streets, even if only for myself:

Being back very quickly feels normal — familiar at least. But there’s a hurtful undertone because it confronts us with what we didn’t have for so long.

Most people are just walking around or shopping for fruits and vegetables. Restaurants are preparing their opening. Covid test stations are busy, as well as scooter repairs, ATMs, hairdressers & cardboard collection.
